IDAHO Sydney was established by Nick Baldas and Luke Callaghan to do something positive about violence and homophobia in Sydney and to commemorate International Day Against Homophobia (IDAHO) held on May 17 each year.
In 2010 we held IDAHO the Exhibition at Kudos Gallery in Paddington with the launch on a very wet May 18 with over 300 people attending.
The atmosphere was fantastic, the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Choir sung a few tunes and people reconnected with friends they hadn't seen in a long time and made new ones as well.
The exhibition consisted of 45 artworks from a wide variety of established and emerging artists from around Sydney, Interstate and Internationally.
